Let's talk a litte bit about PARTY VIDEOS.
With all the shit they try to pass off as music these days, it's hard to find something to listen to, that both others will listen to and won't kill off brain cells as fast as the alcohol consumed. So a video is a good alternative.
Now watching a video at a party poses a number of problems. Usually people are chit chatting and drinking and all sorts of other things, so a video with a story or such is out of the question. No one is gonna follow it. A party video should fall into the background, yet should be interesting enough to hold everyones peripheral interest.
Of course TARD SPASM is the greatest, especially around the holiday season, and all those mondo death type movies are great too. But sometimes they get old and your party needs something a little special. And this video is just the thing.

It's called AFFLICTION. And NO!!! Nick Nolte is not in this one.
This one features the late great GG Allen and a collection of other various miscreants taking the ideas of 'Freedom of speach and expression' to the extreme in various episodes of performance art!!!

GG ALLEN does his usual excrement eating, urine drinking, naked punk rock antics. And on the music end there is also Cumdumpster and Big Stick and the coolest Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black .

This dude named Mike Diana strikes back at a world, which has decreeded his comic-zine obscene and has court ordered him not to draw anymore, with some various bizzare behaviours like inducing himself to vomit on religious and Americon icons.

And there is Turbo Tom who pokes holes in himself for kicks and acts as a human dart board.
This video has bondage, nipple torture, foot fetish, bizzare sex acts, body piercings and all manner of excellently cool stuff like that. Stuff that will definately make the average Joe wince and say 'whisky tango foxtrot'.

My personal favourite is the enigmatic Full Force Frank and his hoopy gun collection.....

and did I mention porn star Annie Sprinkle does some very talented performance art...
Yes you know a video this far off the beaten path of the mainstream, you just have to see it. So where do you get it? Therein lies the rub. You could, like I did to get my copy, go down the road of Underground Tape Trading (or these days I guess it's DVD-R trading), but I don't do much of that since the DVD revolution so I couldn't begin to tell you where to look. I might suggest asking the posters on the IMDb message board or user comments for this movie if they can hook you up. You can also see it pop up on Ebay now and again. I understand Mike Diana, himself, sometimes puts copies of it up.
Of course I couldn't find a trailer for this. I'm dubious one even exists, but here is a clip from the movie of some of Mike Diana's art, showing just what a twisted freak he is. Warning, it's pretty offensive.

If you do manage to find a copy, check it out at your next party, your friends will love you for it, or else they will disown you.
